Post One: ALL ABOUT ME

1) What are your career plans for the future?

I graduate this spring! Post-graduation, I will be starting an internship training program for a public relations agency in New York City, within the brand marketing department. I also plan on attending the Denver Publishing Institute summer certificate. Professionally, I would love to work in fashion, consumerism, and public relations. I have a lot of experience with writing and influencers, and love fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, so whatever I do I would like to incorporate aspects of these things.

2) What kinds of writing do you think you will do in the future in your career? Why?

I will be writing press releases and various other professional work this summer/fall/possibly after that as well, but I also see myself writing blogs posts and articles for a magazine. I would really like to be a freelance writer at some point where I can incorporate my interests!

3) How do you plan to use your writing portfolio you design in this class professionally? Why?

I would like to use it as a chance to showcase my professional writing skills and possibly be able to write freelance on the side for a magazine or online publication.
